1. Name of the activity : Opening Webinar

 

Aim of the activity : To have an online meeting in order to meet the partners, organize the project, decide the group rules and distribution of the tasks. 

 

Responsible partners : All teacher members of the project are responsible.

 

DECEMBER 2022

 

1. Name of the activity : Collecting Parental Consent Letters

 

Description of the activity : We are going to collect Parental Consent Letters.

 

Aim of the activity : Collecting Parental Consent Letters in order to get involved the students into the project. 

Let the parents inform about out our project.

 

Responsible partners : All teacher members of the project are responsible.

 

2. Name of the activity :  Having students meeting

 

Description of the activity : All teacher members will have a students meeting with their own students.

 

Aim of the activity : Teacher members will inform their students about ESEP and eTwinning platform.

Students will be able to login to ESEP and eTwinning platform with their usernames and passwords individually.

Students will be able to learn how to use ESEP and eTwinning platform.

 

Responsible partners :  All teacher and student members of the project are responsible.

 

JANUARY 2023

 

1. Name of the activity : Pre - Surveys

 

Description of the activity : We are going to apply Pre-surveys for students, teachers and parents.

 

Aim of the activity :  To learn about students', teachers' and parents' expectations and needs about the project activities.

To learn about students', teachers' and parents' readiness about the project activities.

To learn about students', teachers' and parents' opinions and feelings about the project activities.

2. Name of the activity : Introduction I - Who we are

 

Description of the activity :  We are going to give brief information about us like our names, ages, interest, likes/dislikes, ambitions etc. This activity will be the first step to start a good relation between the members.

 

Aim of the activity : To describe ourselves in English.

To use web 2.0 tools in order to give information about oneself.

 

Learning  outcomes of the activity : 

 

E9.1.S1.Students will be able to introduce themselves and their family members / Students will be able to identify frequently used vocabulary for greetings and conversations

Students will be identify expressions related to scchool / everyday life and free time activities (E10.1.L1)

Students will be able to introduce themselves and others individually / in pairs or in small groups (E10.1.S1)

Students will be able to exchance personal information in both formal and informal situations (E10.1.S2.)

Students will be able to describe themselves, their family, and their habits in a short descriptive paragraph with the help of cues and/or guiding questions.(E10.W1)

Students will  be able to talk about their own plans for future (E10.2.S1.)

Students will be able to write an opinion paragraph about their plans (E10.2.W1) 

Students will be able to introduce themselves and others individually in pairs or small groups.

 

Responsible partners : All partners are responsible for introducing themselves and adding their works to the padlet.

Aynur ÖZKILIÇ from Gazi Anatolian High School is responsible for creating a padlet in order to help partners create a co-work.

 

FEBRUARY, 2023

 

1. Name of the activity : 7th February, 2023 Safer Internet Day

 

Description of the activity : We are going to prepare a cooperative document containing our pupils' tips on how to be safe online

 

Aim of the activity : 

To raise awareness of the Safer Internet Day, 7th February, 2023

To raise awareness of the importance of being safe online

To prepare some tips about how to be safe online

 

Learning outcomes of the activity : 

E10.6.L1. Students will be able to analyze the situation and phrases related to giving and receiving advice.

E10.6.R1. Students will be able to identify the advice, rules and regulations in a text.

E10.8.W1. Students will be able to write a cause and effect paragraph about the importance of netiquette.

E10.8.R2. Students will be able to evaluate the effects of social media in a written text to draw conclusions.

E10.8.W2. Students will be able to write an online digital collaborative story.

E11. 10.S1. Students will be able to exchange ideas about values and practices.

E12.4.R1. Students will be able to read a text about cyber crimes and rights to distinguish the lexis and jargon.

 

Responsible partners : All partners are responsible to add a tip about being safe online to the cooperative document.

Aynur ÖZKILIÇ from Gazi Anatolian High School is responsible for creating a cooperative google document to add the tips for being safe on the net.

 

2. Name of the activity : Where we study

 

Description of the activity : We are going to introduce our schools.

 

Aim of the activity : 

To learn about schools from different countries

To learn about different educational systems

To learn about different types of educational environments

To learn about different perspectives on education

 

Learning outcomes of the activity : 

E9.2.S1. Students will be able to compare people, places and objects around them.

E9.2.W2. Students will be able to describe different environments in simple sentences and phrases.

E10.1.L1. Students will be able to identify expressions related to school / everyday life and free time activities

E11.9.W1. Students will be able to write a text about their teachers and friends for a school magazine.

E12.2.L1. Students will be able to extract specific information from a conversation between friends.

E12.5.R2. Students will be able to identify specific information in a real-life text.

E12.9.R2. Students will be able categorize information information in everyday material, such as websites, brochures and magazines.

E12.10.S2. Students will be able to discuss manners in different cultures.

 

Responsible partners : All partners are responsible for intoducing their schools on a cooperative padlet.

Martina FERRARIO from IIS ''L. Castiglioni'' - Limbiate (Mb) / ITALY is responsible for creating a padlet to add the works of introducing the places we live in order to create a collaborative work.

 

3. Name of the activity : Where we live

 

Description of the activity : We are going to introduce our towns/cities and countries.

 

Aim of the activity : 

To discover different countries

To learn about different cultures

To learn about social etiquettes from different countries.

 

Learning outcomes of the activity : 

E9.1.R2. Students will be able to find specific information in a simple text about jobs/ nationalities / countries.

E9.2.S1. Students will be able to ask about and describe their neighbourhood.

E9.2.W1. Students will be able to fill in a chart comparing cities in different countries.

E9.2.R1. Students will be able to read a simple text for specific information about their neighbourhood/city etc.

E10.4.L1. Students will be able to locate specific information about traditions in charts by watching short documentaries.

E10.4.W1. Students will be able to write a short paragraph of comparing traditions around the world.

E10.7.S1. Students will be able to take part in a dialogue about introducing national and international festivals.

E11.7.L1. Students will be able to recognize information about the description of a monument or a historic site in a recorded text.

Description of the activity : We are going to decide the logo of the project in order to use on the works of the activities

 

Aim of the activity :  To help students use their imagination with web tools

To help students use their creativity with web tools

To help students combine their imagination and creativity with web tools

 

Responsible partners : All partners are responsible for creating logos

 

2. Name of the activity : Our Project Poster

 

Description of the activity : We are going to decide the poster of the project in order to share school community and more people in order to make them aware of the project.

 

Aim of the activity :  To help students use their imagination with web tools.

To help students use their creativity with web tools.

To help students combine their imagination and creativity with web tools.

 

Responsible partners : All partners are responsible for creating posters.

 

3. Name of the activity : Our Project Slogan / Motto

 

Description of the activity : We are going to decide the slogan of the project in order to share school community and more people in order to make them aware of the project.

We are going to use the slogan on the project poster.

 

Aim of the activity :  To help students use their imagination with web tools.

To help students use their creativity with web tools.

To help students combine their imagination and creativity with web tools.

Responsible partners : All partners are responsible for creating a slogan.
